Close to 90 Air Travels Linked to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Arrived at or Departed from UK Airfields

An investigation has identified that approximately 90 aircraft journeys connected to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein are said to have landed at and took off from UK airfields, with some allegedly carrying British women who allege they were abused by the found guilty sex offender.

Aviation Records Uncover Pattern of Travel

The travel manifests were part of a trove of court documents and papers made public by Epstein’s estate that have been released over the past year. The investigation found 87 flights connected to Epstein – encompassing many that were previously unknown – arriving or departing from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.

Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Flights

Unnamed women were listed among the travelers flying to and from the UK. Notably, 15 of these UK flights took place after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for procuring prostitution from a minor.

“It was ‘appalling’ that there had never been a ‘thorough probe in the UK’ into his activities in the country,” stated US lawyers acting for hundreds of Epstein victims.

British Victims and Court Cases

A statement from one of the British victims was instrumental in convicting Epstein’s accomplice socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. But, that individual has not been approached by police in the UK, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.

In a response, the the Met indicated they had “not received any further information that would support reopening the investigation.” They commented, “If fresh and pertinent information be brought to our attention, encompassing any arising from the release of documents in the US, we will review it.”

Continuing Document Release and Legal Rulings

Proposed legislation to disclose every document held by the US government in regarding Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to comply. Hundreds of thousands of files are projected to be made public.

Separately, a US judge ordered last week that the DOJ could disclose case files from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime confidante, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
